Wix offers the ideal combination of design flexibility, reliability, and ease of use. It allows us to create stunning, fully custom websites without the security vulnerabilities, plugin conflicts, and ongoing maintenance demands of platforms like WordPress. For our clients, it means a professional website that's easy to update and doesn't require constant technical oversight.
Yes, when set up correctly. Wix provides all the technical foundations needed for good SEO — fast loading speeds, mobile responsiveness, secure hosting, and full control over meta titles, descriptions, and URL structures. We implement SEO fundamentals on every site we build. However, it's important to understand that SEO is a long-term strategy, and ranking well requires ongoing effort beyond the initial website build. See our SEO section below for more details.
Yes, and we encourage it. One of the benefits of Wix is its intuitive editor, which makes it easy to update text, swap images, and add new content without any technical knowledge. We'll provide a handover session to walk you through how everything works, so you feel confident managing day-to-day updates.
Absolutely. Every website we build is fully optimised for mobile, tablet, and desktop. With more than half of web traffic now coming from mobile devices, we put significant effort into ensuring your site looks and performs beautifully on every screen size.
Wix, like all software platforms, occasionally releases updates that can affect website functionality or appearance. While this is rare, it can happen. We're not responsible for issues caused by platform updates, but if something does go wrong, we'll do our best to help. Remedial work may be billable depending on the circumstances. This is covered in our Terms & Conditions.
Wix websites are built on Wix's proprietary platform, which means they can't be directly exported to another platform like WordPress or Squarespace. However, you retain full ownership of your content, images, and brand assets, which can be used to rebuild on another platform if needed. That said, most of our clients stay with Wix because it serves their needs well.
Yes. Wix charges a separate subscription for hosting your website (their Premium Plans). We'll advise you on which plan is right for your needs, but this is a direct cost between you and Wix. Think of it like rent for your website's home on the internet.
